新產品設計 : 包括市場情蒐,協定研讀,規格訂定,電氣設計與規範認證.
新產品之量產導入 : 包括試產之準備,測試流程,方法及電氣治具之設計,產品之特性分析與驗證.
具無線通信產品開發經驗者佳.
Will do board-level integration instead of IC-design. It means Garmin_Taiwan doesn't suit a candidate who will maps his career to be SOC/RFIC designer or algorithm refiner. Instead, welcomed is an EE-background person who is willing to comprehensively learn and implement different field knowledge in RF, LCD, power, antenna and even some firmware inspection.
Garmin locates the design center in Kansas City,USA even though Garmin_Taiwan launched some hand-held product development since 3 years ago. Most of EE here are working in the function of technology-transfer which consisting of helping debug all the electrical problems during prototype/pilot run or mass production. Usually an EE rookie needs to go through that role, which will expand his various field knowledge and analysis ability, for a while (the period dependent upon individual ability very much) before he is qualified to be a design engineer.
